You need to head towards the live stuff- that's where the good music is- not the shit that sounds the same on the CD and in there shows that after you see one, you've seen their whole schtick....

btw- derek and the dominoes and cream FTW. Went to a whole bunch of the Almans' 40th aniversary shows at the beacon last spring and by far the best one I saw was when Clapton came out and they did a whole set of Derek and the Dominoes- and they jammed- magic beyond magic...

I didn't (just a youtube vid)- my guess is that's just someone with a phone or something, but I have the soundboard recording of that show and its amazing- crystal clear- and extremely rare- (ABB almost never allows there shows to be recorded and when they do it its all audience recordings- people with mics set up in the "sweet spot" of the audience- becuase it was so good someone inside leaked it- and luckily after having toured for so damn long and being in with that group of people I get all sorts of shit like that.) My guess is ABB will put out a dvd of the higlights of those 14 shows at some point. That Layla will inevitablely be the last track (though the Little Wing two songs prior was one of the greatest musical moments I've almost ever seen- minus some things the dead did, but then again Jerry and GD trumps all ;-)
