I've turned into a computer tweeker-lol
bunch of places having sales of best AMD quad black edition (3.4 ghz stock). My current AMDx3 black edition runs at 1.52 volts (and I have it oc-ed at 3.7ghz x18.5 and its totally stable- can't go any higher).
I've read that the AMD quad runs at 1.52, but will jacking it up to 4.0ghz (its all my mobo can handle evidentally) require a voltage change? In addition, could I just slap the thing in (its the same socket type) and run with it at 3.4ghz or does it require bios changes (which I have no idea how to do)
