02. Weak and Powerless - A Perfect Circle

Tilling my own grave to keep me level
Jam another dragon down the hole
Digging to the rhythm and the echo of a solitary siren
One that pushes me along and leaves me so
Desperate and ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless over you
Someone feed the monkey while I dig in search of china
White as Dracula as I approach the bottom

Desperate and ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless over you

Little angel go away, come again some other day
Devil has my ear today, I'll never hear a word you say
He promised that I'd find a little solace and some peace of mind
Whatever just as long as I don't feel so
Desperate and ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless
Desperate, ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless over you
Over you

Good Shit right there

A Perfect Circle's Album "Mer De Noms" was actually pretty good.  I havent listened to them recently, however.  Emo seems to be the fad thing these days.

"Emo" isn't anything new.  Just go read Shakespeare.

That guy is AMAZING, and I'm willing to bet that the majority of those licks (or least the putting together of them all) was made up on the spot)

however he misprounced the "amen" part in his song   Cool

This is my baby- bought in '97 when they decided to make really serious acoustic guitars again

This is the other one I have before I upgraded
